Airline Relief Bill Passes Senate and House
With a Senate vote of 93-0, House vote 414-12, the separate FY 2003 Appropriation Supplemental bills were passed late last night providing over $3 billion in relief for the Airline Industry. Next week will be critical when the House and Senate attempt to reconcile their differences in spending.
RAP has listed House members who voted “NO” to the Supplemental Bill. We urge you to contact your Representatives and encourage them to support relief for the airlines as they face more and more challenges, which will further impact service to rural and small communities.
Arizona: Jeff Flake, 6th Raul Grijalva, 7th
California Sam Farr, 17th Barbara Lee, 9th Diane Watson, 33rd Lynn Woosley, 6th
Georgia: John Lewis, 5th

RAP will inform you of additional updates as they become available. More to come.
